SAVVY Shorts: Company C Main Line in Wayne
If you like your surroundings Colorful with, well, a capital C, you may fall hard for Company C, the spirited home furnishings “studio store” that just opened in downtown Wayne.
I sure did.
I came home from last week’s Company C kickoff party inspired to kick a few of my own play-it-safe rooms right to the curb.
The 2,000 sq. foot, bi-level showroom/store is chock full of the label’s custom-crafted, sustainably sourced furniture, textural throw pillows, vibrant, over-scaled pattern rugs, organic cotton bedding, and nifty accent pieces.
And just about all of it is awash in color – the bolder, the better.
The look is clean, casual and relentlessly cheerful. If Company C were a clothing line, I’d call it Modern Preppy – the sort of style Kate Spade, Trina Turk and Tory Burch might embrace.

Now Open: Peggy Brehman has opened the area's first Company C Studio Store right next to her Aubusson Home shop in Wayne. Founded in New Hampshire by husband-and-wife team Walter and Christine Chapin more than 20 years ago, the lifestyle brand is known for its vibrant colors and patterns.
